About Kelley & Sons Trailers
Kelley & Sons Trailers was founded in 1992 by Tim & Sue Kelley. Reconditioning a snowmobile trailer for resale, in our backyard, prompted us to give trailer sales a try. In 1996, we moved Kelley & Sons Trailers (we have three sons) to Carleton and expanded our business from trailer sales to include boat and recreational vehicle storage. We offer professional grade trailers for construction, landscape, racing, recreation and we conveniently keep our "mom and pop" operation open from 9 to 5 Monday through Friday and 8 to 12 on Saturdays.
We have earned a reputation for quality and workmanship in both the commercial and residential markets. Over the years we found that carrying high-quality products is what has contributed to our dealership’s success. When you find products that sell and perform exceptionally well accompanied by manufacturers that act as true partners, business flourishes. Selling high quality products has gotten us to where we are today and which is why we have so much repeat business!
Besides trailer sales, the service department stays busy 5 days a week with preventative maintenance jobs and trailer repairs. We promote the importance of trailer maintenance upon initial trailer purchase. And when your older trailer needs some TLC, we can do that too!
We feel we gain the trust and respect of our customers by being honest and by treating our clients like family! The best part of our business is meeting and talking with a wide variety of people, gaining personal relationships with our longstanding storage customers, and selling trailers that have ended up as far away as Alaska!

In our NEW BUILDING, we have a very nice selection of in-stock parts. If we don't have it we can usually have it the next day.
We have a service department 2nd to none. We will never replace parts just to replace them. When servicing your trailer, if we see cracked frames and/or other parts that need replacing, we always call first to give an estimate and get your blessing to do the additional work.
FULLY LICENSED and INSURED
We are a State-Registered Class A Dealer in the State of Michigan.
We are partnered with the Secretary of State and can do plating for your trailer in-house. This means you get your license plate as you leave with your new trailer!
